The newly accredited John Shufeldt School of Medicine and Medical Engineering at ASU begins recruiting for its first class in fall 2026, training physician-engineer leaders to transform health care delivery and education. Trained in multiple disciplines — medicine, engineering, technology and humanities — students will receive two degrees in four years: a MD and a Master of Science in medical engineering.
