Special Guest Visits

Dr. Teresa Seeman will be visiting on June 21, 2005. She is a Professor in the Division of Geriatrics at the UCLA School of Medicine. She has worked extensively in community-based epidemiologic research examining psychological and social factors in health and aging. Dr. William Malarkey visited Resilience Solutions on Feb. 3 - 4, 2005. He is an internationally acclaimed researcher who studies neurohormonal and immune responses in clinical and aging populations. He also has been the Director of Ohio State's Clinical Research Center for many years and author of “Taking Control of Your Aging”. Dr. Carol Ryff visited with the Resilience Solutions Group on Oct. 14-16, 2004. Dr. Ryff is director of the Institute on Aging and professor of psychology at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Dr. Richard Price visited Resilience Solutions in Mar. 2004. He is Professor of Psychology at the University of Michigan and Director of the Interdisciplinary Program on Organizational Studies.
