System Requirements

This version of “Public Figures” has been developed in Adobe Flash. In order to view Flash files, you may need to download and install the latest Flash plug-in for your browser, which can be downloaded for free from Adobe’s website here. Please also ensure you have the most up-to-date version of your web browser.  

“Public Figures” contains animated text, image and large sound files. The chapters are 800x600 pixels in size, so you must be using a monitor running to at least that resolution, and you will need speakers to hear the narrated text.

Although the multimedia content of these chapters is most efficiently presented in Flash format, the Flash files are still fairly large (up to 4.6 MB) and may therefore take some time to preload, depending on the speed of your connection. Please be patient while your chapter downloads – you will see a play button when the chapter is loaded and ready to play.
