According to the American Cancer Society there have been multiple studies done on the causes of Prostate cancer.

Some of those studies have found that higher levels of androgens and other male hormones are related to prostate cancer.

As a man gets older the chances of getting prostate cancer increases. Most prostate cancer cases are in men over the age of 50 according to the American Cancer Society.
