Steady Shots

Your video camera may have an image stabilizer, but it is not enough to get a steady shot. Never try to hand-hold a video camera. It is always better to use a tripod.

If a tripod is not available, you should try to steady your shot in some other ways such as:

  • using a table to anchor your elbows
  • leaning against a wall
  • bracing your elbows close to your body

However, the best shots are taken with a tripod.
