HELPFUL HINTS

This section highlights some of the common mistakes of a beginner videographer. Very often we see shots that are shaky. It leaves the viewer queasy. Sometimes it is intentional as in the movie Blair Witch. But for documentaries, interviews and most types of filming, it is crucial to have steady shots.

It also important to have pictures with the right color. Sometimes, the picture may appear blue or yellow in different lighting. This is due to incorrect white balance.
