Autism affects 1 out of every 150 live births and is the fastest growing developmental disability in the United States. It is a hard disability to understand with as many symptoms and aspects as there are treatments. Having worked closely with autistic children, it is my belief that the best way to help is through understanding. There is not much information on Autism in Spanish and speaking with an American-English speaking doctor can be confusing if your first language is not English. Under Resources there are a few websites that are translated into spanish, hopefully in years to come there will be many more. My web site was created in hopes of helping with the understanding of Autism.
