Greetings and welcome to TWC598!

Students registered for 598 are required to complete all of the coursework listed in the Weekly Schedule as well as the Digital Rights Management Blog project. In addition, you will be working together as a team to complete additional coursework described below.

Graduate Forum

I have set up a group in the Blackboard course site called "Graduate Forum." This is your area of Blackboard to meet and to hold discussions separate from the remainder of the class. Both the Discussion Forum and Virtual Classroom are active in the group area.

Coursework

Graduate coursework for this semester will consist of additional reading(s) or other activity and an analytical essay for 6 weeks (approximately every other week). The objective is to provide you with the opportunity to explore the course topics in more depth and with greater analysis.

Essay

Four of the 6 essays are to be co-written as a group writing project., with each of you taking the lead on two. The remaining 2 are to be completed individually.

Essays are to be 2-3 page summary and analysis of the topic, bringing together and contextualizing your readings, class discussion/activities, and group discussions/activities.

Each essay will be worth 5 points. See Essay Requirements for essay criteria and grading.
