This Italian translation of a Latin work, first published in 1633, on flower gardening includes 45 plates of garden architecture designs, flowers, and their display. The work is divided into four books. The first book discusses the architecture, and care of the garden as well as the tools needed to maintain it. The second book gives the descriptions of various flowers, while the third book discusses the cultivation of these flowers. The fourth book concludes this work with a discussion of the uses and marvels of flowers, including the features of mutated flowers. The work includes an index.
