This edition is an early work on the rare plants of Austria, Hungary and vicinity, beautifully and fully described by Clusius. Each plant receives a full page narrative and drawing. In addition, there is an appendix with further observations on some of the plants. There is also a complete index to the work, as well as an explanation of Pannonicus’s nomenclature and the typographical errors.
