Le Metro
Here is an activity based on the official map of the Paris Metro. Look carefully at the directions before going to the site and answering the questions on the bottom of the page. When you click on the link for the Metro you will search for specific Metro stops, and each Metro stop will have a map service. When you click on the Metro stop you will see a window like this that is the plan quartier (map of the Metro stop area) |

There are several things you need to know before you go on and complete the exercise. You will need to modify the search properties of each plan quartier so that you can find the object of the treasure hunt. First, click on the right on the Museum and Monuments, like in the picture to the right.

The next step for the activity is to make the changes to the map (only the Museums and Monuments visible) visible. Otherwise the map will be too hard to read. Look at the picture to the left, there is a red arrow next to the button �Actualiser' go and click on that button so that the changes are put into effect. Now you can explore each and every metro stop you want and see what is around it.
