The Orchid House, part of the Brickyard Building in downtown Tempe, Arizona, houses the ASU Decision Theater. This 8,000-square foot building offers public accessibility to the ASU research teams that form the core of its scientific and technical personnel.
The Decision Theater is a world-class laboratory that combines advanced methodologies in visualization, simulation and cognitive sciences for participants to connect sustainability research, applications and practices.
The theater is an immersive 3-D environment, which uses cutting-edge graphic technology and a 260-degree faceted screen to display panoramic computer graphics and video content. The theatre includes tools for collecting participant input and interaction.
