LONDON (DECEMBER 27-28, DECEMBER 31-JANUARY 4, JANUARY 8-13)
Students visit the British Library, the Strang Print Room, London College of Communication, the National Gallery, Tate Modern, Flower Graphics & the London Printmakers Council. The students also spend a day printing collagraph plates at Red Hot Press in Southampton. Other highlights include afternoon tea & an evening at the theatre.
OXFORD (DECEMBER 29-30).
Oxford has served as an international scholarly hub for over nine centuries. Students visit the Ashmolean Museum, Oxford Printmakers, the Pitt Rivers Museum & other sites around the city.
GLASGOW & EDINBURGH (JANUARY 4-7)
Students spend two days printing at the Glasgow School of Art & the Glasgow Print Studio. In Edinburgh students tour the Golden Mile, Edinburgh Castle & Edinburgh Printmakers. |
Eligibility: |
This program is designed for all students in good standing at the University. While the program stipulates no minimum grade-point average, applicants must submit a transcript demonstrating that they are serious students who will make the most of this opportunity. Applications with a $400 non-refundable deposit are due on or before October 13, 2006, but applications will be accepted until November 22, 2006 on a space available basis. Non-ASU students will need to apply to the University before November 10, 2006. |

The cost of $2730 (subject to possible change) includes: program fees, double occupancy rooms w/breakfast, local transport, excursions/entry fees, formal afternoon tea, a group dinner & a theatre performance. Not included: Tuition & fees, optional excursions, airfare, transport to/from airport, passport, meals, health insur., personal expenses. |
