Summer Sessions Study Abroad 2004

London, Dublin & Edinburgh

Dates: May 15 - June 29, 2007
Cost: $4550
Summary: In the summer of 2007, Barrett, the Honors College at Arizona State University is offering a unique opportunity for study abroad. For six and a half weeks you will be studying in and experiencing the wonders of the three fabulous cities of London, England; Dublin, Ireland; and Edinburgh, Scotland.
Additional Information
Location: LONDON (MAY 15 - JUNE 6)
London’s many celebrated historical sites include Buckingham Palace, Westminster Abbey, the Tower of London, and Trafalgar Square. Its museums and galleries contain collections of
unparalleled scope, and its theater companies are the finest in the world. A Shakespeare play at the Globe Theatre is just one of our field trips.

DUBLIN (JUNE 6 - 17)
Since its founding in the Middle Ages by Viking raiders, Dublin has played a major role in Ireland’s turbulent history. Permanently associated with such great writers as Swift, Joyce, and Yeats, Dublin is today the center of a lively music scene, offering everything from traditional Irish music to rock bands like U2. Party with those friendly and fun Dubliners as everyone celebrates James Joyce’s Ulysses on June 16th.

EDINBURGH (JUNE 17 - JUNE 29)
A city of stunning architecture and breathtaking views, Edinburgh is the center of Scotland’s great culture and fascinating history. A brief train or bus ride takes you to William Wallace’s castle and monument and to the country’s many gorgeous lochs and highland hills. Monster hunting at Loch Ness is a must.
