Within easy reach are also the Great Wall, the famous Qing Tombs, Shan Hai Passage and many other historically significant and scenic sites.

JOURNEY TO SHANGRI-LA - TIBET & LI RIVER
First, we will visit Xi’an, the site of the Qin terra cotta soldiers tombs. From the ancient capital of Han & Tang dynasties, we will travel to the magnificently beautiful and precipitously elegant and natural Tibet & legendary Shangri-la. After adventures in the other national minority and exotic region of the Li River and Kunming City, we will fly to Hong Kong, the Pearl of the Orient for a 4 day visit before returning home.

Eligibility: Eligibility is extended to the motivated student who is willing to be adventurous, meet new people, and experience different customs, foods and ways of life. There is a language requirement of one semester of Chinese for all participants. Applications with a $275 non-refundable deposit are due on or before February 5, 2007.
