The Academic Senate at Arizona State University is the representative body of the Academic Assembly, which consists of all tenure track faculty, academic professionals, and full-time contract faculty (i.e. lecturers and senior lecturers, instructors, clinical faculty, research faculty, and professors of practice). The Senate is empowered in ACD112-01 to "act for and represent the Academic Assembly. . . in all matters including, but not limited to: a) academic affairs. . . b) personnel affairs. . . c) faculty-student policies. . . d) financial affairs. . . and University services and facilities. . . ." This site is designed to provide you with timely information regarding work issues of members of the Academic Assembly and to solicit your input and questions regarding these issues.
