My Name is J. Kevin Harris. This vizproto class stands for visualization and Rapid Prototyping.The Visualization part of the class deals with the posses that we gather, collect, posses, and out put data. This class has helped me to thinking about how all data is collected then arranged in a visual way, from pie charts, graphed, maps, MRI's etc. Rapid Prototyping deals with two posses laser canning and Prototyping. Laser Scanning is a posses using a laser that scans a 3D object that the computer will then make a computerized copy of the module to be used in Maya, Rhino GeoMagice etc. You can then edit that module, create a module from scratch and make a 3D object using a prototype machine that lays down successive layers of liquid, powder, or sheet material, and in this way builds up the model from a series of cross sections.
