The Unified Society of South Asians is organized to unite the South Asian population and to educate and spread social, political and cultural awareness of South Asia to all ASU students and faculty.

These specific countries were chosen because despite differences that exist amongst these countries they all share a distinct past with similar yet unique cultures.

Moreover, the combined population of students with origins from these countries has become so noticably large at ASU that we believe a USSA will have a strong presence to accomplish our mission.
