Sally Ball is the author of Annus Mirabilis, which was selected by Ellen Bryant Voigt for the 2005 Barrow Street Press Poetry Prize (www.barrowstreet.org). Her poems have appeared in Boulevard, Ploughshares, Slate, Threepenny Review, and other journals, as well as in the Best American Poetry anthology. Ball is the associate director of Four Way Books, an independent press based in New York City. In 2007 she was the Margaret Bridgman Fellow in Poetry at the Bread Loaf Writers Conference. She has new poems forthcoming in Forklift, Ohio; Harvard Review; Shenandoah; Witness; Yale Review; and elsewhere. At ASU, she teaches poetry workshops, courses in 20th century American poetry, and an editing class.
