Senior Fiction Writer/Associate or Full Professor: Arizona State University’s Creative Writing Program is seeking a fiction writer of national/international reputation. The successful candidate must have an MFA or Ph.D in English, creative writing, or related field. Applicants must have an established record of academic and professional achievement appropriate to the rank Associate or Full Professor, have a distinguished record of publication, a demonstrated history of effective teaching and mentorship. A track record of leadership in the field is desired. Salary commensurate with experience.

English Education: Associate Professor, Tenure-Track
Required: Earned doctorate in English Education or closely related field; teaching experience at the secondary level; evidence of mentoring graduate students in research and publications; experience in supervising student teachers and supporting in-service teachers; research, publications, and college teaching appropriate to rank. Linguistics
Assistant Professor: Native American Linguistics and Semantics.
Required: Ph.D. in Linguistics or a related field; college level teaching experience appropriate to rank; and a compelling record of ongoing, high-quality research and publication in Native American Linguistics and formal semantics. Desired: Proficiency in one or more Native American languages.
Initial teaching load is 2/2 for tenure-track faculty with a significant research agenda. Teaching opportunities are at undergraduate, Master’s, and PhD levels. The appointment will be in the department of English (http://www.asu.edu/clas/english). Arizona State University is a large metropolitan university with programs in linguistics housed in various departments. The candidate would contribute to teaching in existing programs as well as help develop new programs.
