Basic Writing e-Journal is designed to be an
electronic forum to help broaden our conversations about Basic Writing. BWe
also
- Provides additional publication opportunities to those of us involved in BW
- Allows for publication of those pieces that perhaps don't fit, for whatever reason, the Journal of Basic Writing
- Provides a space for teachers to respond, to question, to further explore, etc. issues that appear here, in JBW, and in other venues
- Provides a forum for review and discussion of books focusing on Basic Writing issues
- Continues to inform interested parties about what will happen at future 4Cs
- Publishes the text and handouts our workshop presenters provided at the most recent conference
Basic Writing e-Journal
BWe is an electronic peer-reviewed journal and as such, your submission will be reviewed (and perhaps commented on) by members of our Editorial Board.
Periodically, we will post (on various Listservs but always CBW-L) a "call for papers" for the journal. All submissions must be sent through e-mail to one of the editors: Tom Reynolds or Bill Lalicker; all submissions will be acknowledged, so you will know yours has been received.
