Featuring a group of international contemporary artists, the exhibition showcases artworks that are fresh from the artists’ studios. Dating from 2006 to 2008, the works illustrate the most recent trends in contemporary art. Reception: 7-9 p.m., Sept. 26.

Rhodes, Sterling Ruby, Andro Wekua, and Thomas Zipp. Richard Hughes and Andro Wekua will also be part of Life on Mars: 55th Carnegie International opening in May 2008. Rachel Harrison is featured in the 2008 Whitney Biennial.

Join The Coalition for Solution Through Higher Education for the Arizona Premiere of "Two Million Minutes," a documentary film that follows six students from three 21st century superpowers – China, India and the United States. As soon as a student completes the 8th grade, that child has two million minutes to prepare for college and a career, the documentary reveals how these six children spend their precious minutes.

Topics covered include definitions; symbols of pride; gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender lives; multiple identities; homophobia; heterosexual privilege; and, gender identity basics. Members of the LGBTQ community can gain information & resources from this workshop as well as learn how to effectively partner with your heterosexual peers in creating a safer, more receptive and accepting campus climate.
