Alice Notley
Alice Notley still lives in New York City. Her most recent book is At Night The States (The Yellow Press, Chicago). She also edited Ted Berrigan's A Certain Slant of Sunlight for O Books (San Francisco) last year. She is currently at work on a long poem.

These two pages are from a long poem I'm working on, entirely in this "measure," the first section of which takes place in a world that is a subway. Each page is a little story, like these two, that is like a dream.
