Advancing the well-being of the ASU community is a full team effort. We are developing a Community of Care, where we recognize that our actions impact the lives and health of others.

In order to do your part in keeping yourself and our community healthy, you will be prompted to:

  1. Complete daily health checks -- no matter where you are learning or working from. Taking care of ourselves and each other means submitting your health check every day. You can also adjust your preferences for added convenience.
  2. Share your COVID-19 test results with ASU. If you test positive for COVID-19, your healthcare provider can contact ASU so we can follow-up with you and send an alert to those you may have been in contact with.

Submit your daily health check

In an effort to keep our Sun Devil community healthy, all students (excluding ASU Online students) and employees are required to submit a daily health check through the ASU Mobile App. If you don’t have a mobile device or access to healthcheck.asu.edu, please contact 1-844-448-0031 for assistance.

Remembering to submit your daily health check might be easier if you set a reminder. ASU can prompt you with a push notification or email – all you have to do is set it up and tell us what modality you prefer. We’ll take it from there.

Health Tools

Students seeking confidential, personal counseling can connect with a mental health counselor 24/7 through ASU Counseling Services.

Employees in need of mental or behavioral health services should connect with the Employee Assistance Office to obtain proper support.

Testing for students and employees is available on all campuses.

Students should login to My Health Portal to schedule their COVID-19 testing at no charge.

Employees can schedule COVID-19 testing at no charge through ASU’s Biodesign Institute.

Telehealth services allow Sun Devils to connect virtually with an ASU Health Services healthcare provider. Make an appointment if you are feeling symptomatic, need counseling or to attend follow-up appointments.

Students can schedule telehealth appointments by logging in to My Health Portal.

Employees seeking a telehealth appointment affiliated with their insurance carrier, should visit the Find a Provider tab through the Employee Assistance office.

People with COVID-19 have had a wide range of symptoms reported – ranging from mild symptoms to severe illness. Symptoms may appear 2-14 days after exposure to the virus. People with these symptoms may have COVID-19:

  • Fever or chills
  • Cough
  • Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
  • Fatigue
  • Muscle or body aches
  • Headache
  • New loss of taste or smell
  • Sore throat
  • Congestion or runny nose
  • Nausea or vomiting
  • Diarrhea

This list does not include all possible symptoms.The CDC continues to update their website as they learn more about COVID-19.

COVID-19 Response Info

Exposure Management can help ASU understand if you have crossed paths with someone (while on campus only) that has been diagnosed with COVID-19. By giving your consent, you permit ASU to send you a discreet notification alerting you of any potential exposure.

All students and employees living, working, attending or teaching a class on campus are required to submit a daily health check via the ASU Mobile App. If you don't have a mobile device you can submit your daily health check at healthcheck.asu.edu website or by calling 844-448-0031. You will respond to a brief set of questions and share your temperature — then get an immediate recommendation on whether to proceed with learning and working as usual.

If you are NOT coming to campus, you will still need to “check in” via the app, website or telephone to verify you are not coming to campus for any purpose.

ASU Online students not coming to campus, do not need to submit a health check.

The ASU Live Well community is dedicated to supporting student health and wellbeing. Emphasizing the importance of a healthy mind, body and spirit, this hub of resources provides students with direct access to ASU wellness offerings such as ASU Health Services, ASU Counseling and Sun Devil Fitness.

Ensuring Sun Devils continue to have access to resources that promote health and wellbeing, even virtually, is top of mind for Sun Devil Fitness. Set up a virtual consultation with a trainer to develop a workout program that helps meet your physical fitness goals, connect with a nutritionist to discuss a healthy diet, or work with one of our wellness coaches or health educators to better understand how to reach your personal wellness and health goals. Sun Devil Fitness also offers a range of virtual workouts and wellness classes to take at your leisure.

The Devils 4 Devils Community Circle is a peer-led, peer-based, online platform for students to support and connect with each other while taking online classes and practicing social distancing. Through Zoom, students will meet to describe their experiences with digital learning and remote relationships, learn how other students are responding to these changes and receive understanding, helpful information and suggestions.
