On- and off-campus units that employ students through the university’s student employment program must comply with the student wage scale.

Exceptions to the wage scale may be considered for positions in which union wages or market adjustments are involved. The hiring unit must be able to justify any exception to the student wage scale by submitting an e-mail to the Student Employment Office when posting the job opening.
