SSM 1001–05: Use of Residence Hall Outdoor Common Areas for Programming |
To ensure appropriate use of residence hall and on-campus housing facility outdoor common areas for programs
University Housing
Only recognized campus organizations are allowed to use residence hall and on-campus housing facility outdoor common areas for programs. Programs generally must end by 9 p.m. on weeknights and 1 a.m. on weekends. Events with amplified sound may not be scheduled during or after the weekend preceding the last week of classes through the end of finals week. Events with organization may be required to submit written notification for community dissemination to the appropriate University Housing staff member.
No admission fees may be charged. The cost of appropriate security is the responsibility of the campus organization.
