RSP 502–02: Leaves and Absences for Sponsored Projects Personnel |
To provide guidance and define allowability for charging leave, absences and sabbatical costs for personnel paid from sponsored projects.

Personnel paid from a sponsored project grant account receive the same leave and sabbatical benefits as personnel paid from non-sponsored funds.

Faculty, academic professionals and graduate assistants/associates on academic-year appointments do not accrue vacation benefits. Vacation leave is not accrued on the percentage of time charged to the sponsored project.
