To ensure the confidentiality of citations/appeals information

Policy

Citations/appeals information is considered private and confidential. All access to citations/appeals information and documentation is limited to official purposes. Using any citations/appeals information for unofficial purposes is strictly prohibited and cause for termination.

Access to citations/appeals information is restricted to:

1. the appellant
2. the registered owner of the vehicle, if other than the appellant
3. the department director and/or designee
4. Parking and Transit Services employees, in the performance of their duties
5. Parking Citation Appeal Board members, in the performance of their duties

   and

6. ASU employees (e.g., employees of the Office of General Counsel and Administration; employees of the Student Judicial Affairs Office) in the performance of their duties and consistent with the Buckley Amendment.

Responsibility	Action
Requestor	Ask for citations/appeals information, in writing or in person, from the Appeals Office, Parking and Transit Services.
	If the person is authorized access:
Appeals Office	Provide the information.
