During the conceptual phase of a project, the ASU Police Department (ASU PD) should be notified of all plans for new construction, remodeling, or modification of any buildings, facilities, or areas at the university. ASU PD reviews architectural plans to ensure that security issues will be considered in the building, facility, or area.

The ASU Police Department notes any deficiencies and presents written recommendations for correcting potential problems. These recommendations are given to all appropriate departments.
