Rigoberto González Reading, September 2005

Award winning author Rigoberto González visited students at Tolleson Union High School through a collaborative effort between YWP and the Virginia G. Piper Center for Creative Writing. González, a graduate of ASU’s Master of Fine Arts Creative Writing Program and a National Poetry Series winner, read from his work, discussed his craft, and answered students’ questions in the Tolleson Union library. Students were introduced to Gonzalez’s work prior to his visit through YWP residencies.
