ADA Accommodations  

If you have special accommodation needs, please contact us and we will be happy to work with you.

 

 
Beverages

You may request coffee, juice, soda, bottled tea and bottled water for your function. Please call (602) 496-1500 at least 72 hours in advance of your meeting to make arrangements for service. Two lounges are equipped with vending and soda machines. These lounges are located in Building C on the second and third floors.

 

Beverage Items Available

Lipton bottled flavored teas – 16 oz. bottles – $1.25 each
Soda – 12 oz. cans – $1.00 each (Pepsi-branded and distributed products)
Premium bottled water – 20 oz. bottles – $1.00 each
Ocean Spray juices – 16 oz. bottles – $1.50 each cranberry, apple, orange
Starbucks coffee – initial order, $.95 per cup/refills, $.75 per cup

Catering

Your meeting may be catered by any of the Mercado-approved caterers and vendors.

If you choose to supply your own food and beverages, your event will be subject to a $30 facility fee. If your event is run by caterers or vendors who are not on the approved list, it will be subject to a $50 facility fee.

 

Ethernet/Wireless

Ethernet connections are available in all classrooms; the IP address, gateway and subnet for the room will be provided. The cost to use an Ethernet connection in the classroom is $125 per day. In addition, technical support is available to set up Ethernet connectivity. Our technical support team will set up 10baseT connections (converters for BNC coaxial cables are not available). The cost for technical support is $60 per half hour and should be scheduled at least two weeks prior to your event. For your convenience, we honor late requests for technical support. The cost for late requests is $80 per half hour.

 

Parking

Facility Users will have two options for their event parking at the Heritage and Science Park garage.

1) Parking included, paid by program facilitator: Please instruct your event attendees to park in the conveniently located Heritage and Science Park garage. Beginning April 2008, all prepaid parking validation stickers must be purchased through ASU Parking and Transit Services, (602) 496-1023.

2) Parking not included: Attendees pay Heritage and Science Park garage hourly or daily rate upon exit.

As a result of the parking changes, we are reducing the Facility Use Fee for all ASU Mercado reservations from $5 to $2 per person, based on event set-up counts.

 

Public Pay Phones

Public pay phones are located in the lounge areas on the second and third floors of Building C. In addition, meeting rooms are equipped with intercom phones that connect to Building C's second floor receptionist desk.

 

Standard Equipment and Supplies

Each meeting room is equipped with white marker boards; dry-erase markers and projection screens are provided at no cost. Overhead projectors, slide projectors and lecterns also are available upon request. Additional audio/visual equipment is available upon request for a nominal fee.

 

Web Access Stations  
Web access stations are located on the second and third floors and allow users of the facility a convenient area to check e-mail and access the Internet through a terminal or personal laptop. There is no access to a printer.
