(BGC), founded in 1999, is based on outcomes
from roundtable discussions from ASU’s Morrison Institute
for Public Policy’s Report, “What Matters
in Metropolitan Phoenix.” The discussions
created an energy and determination to go beyond
simply talking about our community challenges.
BGC was founded to promote university-community
alliances in order to address complex issues such
as the economy, the environment, social spending,
communication, and quality of life.
