The Mercado has been a part of the fast-growing downtown community since 1986. Located in the heart of Phoenix's community, the Mercado serves as an anchor for educational, community and facility resources.

The Mercado is an educational, applied research and community service facility that brings the university's resources to downtown Phoenix. Students may take traditional and interdisciplinary undergraduate upper-division and graduate-level credit classes and professional and continuing education courses.

Free noontime lectures, the Galleria and community forums are hosted at the Mercado bringing Arizona State University resources to downtown Phoenix.

In addition, the Mercado hosts meeting, seminar and conference facilities conveniently located in the heart of Phoenix's downtown business community. The exceptional facilities are equipped with quality equipment and managed by an efficient and professional service-focused staff.
