Tuition Waiver
The program permits benefits eligible employees to take courses at ASU, NAU, or the U of A, for a reduced tuition fee. Qualified family members may also enroll. The value of the waiver may be taxable under current federal tax regulations.

Tuition Waiver Forms are available online (PDF file) and at the Human Resources Customer Service Center, (480) 965-2701. Waivers for classes at NAU, the U of A, and for retirees should be brought to the Service Center for processing. Waivers for classes at ASU should be taken to the Student Fee Payment Office in the Student Services Building. Tuition Waivers for Graduate Courses are taxable. Notification of the taxable amount does not appear on your pay stubs; however, you will be notified of the additional tax owed, no later than December 31, of the year in which courses were taken.

Read more information on eligibility, credit hour limits and fees. Definitions and other terms and conditions are defined in Policy SPP 505: Employee Reduced In-State Tuition.
