What is Tiger Advantage ? TIGER Advantage is a personal computer printer that embosses crisp, high-resolution tactile graphics and Braille on Braille paper or other media. Back to Top Can the TIGER Advantage be used print both text and graphical content? Yes. It recognizes textual information and translates it into a Braille font. The graphical content of the document is automatically rendered to produce a tactile representation on the paper. Thus combinations of text and graphics can be embossed directly from applications running on a personal computer. Back to Top What are the applications that TIGER Advantage supports? Printouts can be made directly from a variety of applications such as MS Word, WordPerfect, MS Excel, MS Powerpoint, Netscape Navigator, CorelDraw, Mathematica etc. Back to Top How do I print a page of text? Prepare the document in any windows application and save it. Open the translator using CTRL + ALT + T and press ENTER on the Translate button(alternatively, the the translator can be opened by Start>Programs>Tiger Advantage>ViewPlus Translator and Click on the Translate button) To emboss the document, open the File Menu using ALT + F and press P to open the Printer dialog box. Change the Name of the Printer to Tiger Advantage 3D by using ALT+N and selecting the Tiger Advantage 3D in the drop down box. Back to Top How do I print a graphical sheet (like excel)? Select both the text and graphical portion. Open the translator using CTRL + ALT + T and press ENTER on the Translate button(alternatively, the the translator can be opened by Start>Programs>Tiger Advantage>ViewPlus Translator and Click on the Translate button) After the the translation is done, select the entire document and change the font to Brialle. To emboss the document, open the File Menu using ALT + F and press P to open the Printer dialog box.
