State and Local Government Relations
State and Local Government Relations, in the Office of Public Affairs, represents the interests of Arizona State University by serving as the university's lead advocate with elected and appointed officials, their staffs, and governmental bodies.
Our advocacy efforts are conducted at the direction of the Office of the President.
State Government Relations
ASU monitors all governmental activity at the State level that may impact ASU, primarily the formation of the State budget as well as any other governmental policy or regulatory matters.
Local Government Relations
ASU engages management teams as well as the League of Arizona Cities and Towns, the Arizona City\County Management Association and County Supervisors Association on policy and regulatory issues.
