Chandler Hunter, 11, pays close attention to the lecture about bridles and halters during Hunkapi Horse Camp in Apache Junction. The camp’s focus is to provide individuals the chance to learn about horses – and themselves, too. Activities at the camp include horse care and maintenance, riding skill exercises and team-building activities.
