The third annual Pat's Run took over ASU's Tempe campus April 7. About 13,000 participants showed up to honor former Sun Devil and Arizona Cardinals football player Pat Tillman, who left the world of professional athletics to serve his country in the U.S. Army.
As a member of the Army Rangers, Tillman was killed in Afghanistan in 2004. In his memory, the Pat Tillman Foundation was formed to carry forward his legacy by inspiring people to make positive changes in themselves and in the world around them.
