In early 2000, Katherine K. Herberger gave ASU a $12 million endowment for fine arts. It was, at the time, the largest personal gift ever awarded the university. She also gave the college of fine arts the gift of her name. In 2005, the Katherine K. Herberger College of Fine Arts will celebrate five years as a named college at ASU.
