She entered the room as Sydella Blatch from Washington D.C. But after graduation and the Black and African Convocation, she is Sydella Blatch, Ph.D. Blatch, pictured with convocation speaker Fatimah Halim, received doctorate in Biology and will become a Post Doctoral Fellow at the National Institute of Health.
She along with all the other 8,000 ASU graduates celebrated this spring will enter the world with a strong educational background and a chance to make the world a better place.
Congratulations 2008 graduates! Go Sun Devils.
