Briann January charges past Stanford's Candice Wiggins. January made her name on the team as a strong defender, often handed the assignment of defending the opposing team's top player. She was named the Pac-10 Defensive Player of the Year, the first ever player to be given the award. January was also named Second-Team All-Pac-10.
