The start of the 2007 – 08 basketball season opened with a special buzz at ASU, an unprecedented optimism for both the men’s and women’s team.
The women’s team had high hopes coming off a year in which they made it to the Elite Eight at the NCAA Tournament. The men’s team, although coming off a rough season, found new hope with a heralded group of freshmen and second-year coach Herb Sendek.
