How many guests can I invite?

As many as you like. Seating in Wells Fargo Arena is general seating.

The doors to the arena open one hour prior to commencement. Please arrive as early as possible.

Where can people park?

Free parking is available at most areas on campus the day of commencement and convocations. Parking will be restricted in residence halls and locations where special permits are required. Regular fees will be collected at meters and visitor lots.

Lot 58 will be open for disabled parking.

A drop-off site for elderly guests will be located at the northeast corner of Wells Fargo Arena.

The doors to the arena open one hour prior to commencement. Please arrive as early as possible. Car pooling will save energy and help alleviate traffic congestion for this event.

Do my guests need tickets to see the Convocation?
No, seating in Wells Fargo Arena is non-reserved, general seating. Your guests should arrive early to secure the seating of their choice.
When is the deadline for registering?

Registration deadline is Friday, April 4, 2008.

You may register online or by downloading and completing the registration form.

Can I register after the deadline?

Yes. However, registrations submitted after April 4 are subject to a $25 late fee.

In addition, late registrants will not have their name, degree, and personal statement printed in the commemorative program.

The last day to register for the convocation is Wednesday, May 7, 2008 by 5:00 pm.

Can I just show up on the day of Convocation and walk in the ceremony with my friends?

No. No late registrations will be accepted on the day of the convocation.

The last day to apply for the Hispanic Convocation is Wednesday, May 7, 2008 by 5:00 pm.

Where do I check-in on the day of the ceremony?
Graduates and faculty participating in the processional should check in at the East entrance of Wells Fargo Arena.
Where is the ASU Visitor Information Center located?

The ASU Visitor Information Center is located in the University Commons Building, 215 E. Seventh Street, Tempe, AZ - one block west of the Foundation Building on Seventh Street.

I won't be sure I'm graduating this semester until after the registration deadline. What should I do?
Complete the registration form before the deadline to avoid any late fees. If you discover later that you are not graduating this semester, contact our office. There is no penalty for withdrawing your name from the Convocation roster.
