Hispanic Convocation
Dear Graduating Senior,
Congratulations on your upcoming graduation.
On behalf of Arizona State University and the Hispanic Convocation Committee, we would like to invite any interested graduates to participate in the Spring 2010 Hispanic Convocation ceremony.
This ceremony is a tradition established by ASU Hispanic students over twenty years ago, and celebrates the accomplishments of ASU’s Hispanic graduates. Participation is open to all students graduating this term.
The convocation will take place on Friday, May 14, 2010 in Wells Fargo Arena. The ceremony begins at 3:00 pm.
To Register: You must complete an online registration form via the "RSVP for University Ceremonies" link in your MyASU Graduation tab.
Registrations must be submitted by Friday, April 16, 2010. There is a $10 registration fee. Registering by this date guarantees your name will be printed in the commemorative program and avoids a late fee.
Registrations received after the deadline will be subject to an additional $25 late fee. No registrations will be accepted on the day of convocation.
All graduates are responsible for procuring their own cap and gown, which must be worn during the ceremony.
We encourage graduates to invite faculty who contributed to their success at ASU. This invitation is open to all faculty members of Arizona State University. Your faculty guests are invited to wear their regalia and participate in the Convocation. Faculty participating in the ceremony should RSVP online at our web site.
