Engaging Arizona:
Civic Enterprise & Leadership
From local to global issues, students study our interconnectedness and how to be potent civic participants in working towards solutions. In addition to leadership communication and analytical skills, learn about the diversity of Arizona from an interdisciplinary perspective.
Paired with opportunities for real life experience, this course develops emerging professionals with marketable skills, introduces students to networks in public and private sectors, and prepares students to make a di erence in our society.
Students develop leadership skills and entrepreneurial spirit through various methodologies, including guest speakers, simulations, case studies, research assignments, group and individual presentations, communication development plans, selected readings, and seminar-style classes.
