ScheduleTesting dates and registration are online at www.aamc.org/students/mcat/registration.htm. CostThe Medical College Admission Test costs $230.00. TimeThe exam consists of a two essay-writing samples and three multiple-choice sections: physical sciences, verbal reasoning, and biological sciences. The total appointment time is approximately six hours. RegisterRegistration deadlines are typically two weeks prior to the test. To register, you can visit www.aamc.org/students/mcat/registration.htm. If you miss the regular deadline, you may be able to register during the late-registration time period for an additional fee of $50.00. Fee assistance, ADA accommodations, or special permissions cannot be granted during the late registration period. RetakeYou may test up to three times in one calendar year; however, you may register for only one test date at a time. AdmissionWalk-in testing is not permitted. We encourage you to plan to arrive at the test center an hour prior to your appointment time. If you do not arrive 30 minutes before your appointment time, you will not be allowed to test. You must provide personal identification in the form of a current, government-issued ID containing both your photo and signature (e.g., a driver's license or passport). If your photo ID does not have your signature on it, you must bring a second form of ID that contains your signature.
