Arizona Constitution Exam
- Information
- The Arizona Constitution Exam is taken as part of teacher certification for the state of Arizona.
- Important Change Notice
- As of August 21, 2004, UTS will no longer be offering the Arizona and U.S. Constitution exams on a
regular basis. The Arizona Department of Education will provide UTS with a master list of names of all
eligible examinees for retake exams only (those that took and failed the current
assessments prior to 8/20/04).
- These examinees must provide a copy of their score reports at the time of registration to verify
eligibility for a retake of the current version of the assessment. Refunds will not be provided for
examinees who register in error or are not present for their scheduled exam date.
- Beginning September 18, 2004, the Arizona and U.S. Constitution exams will be administered during six
regularly scheduled Arizona Educators Proficiency Assessment (AEPA) administrations. The new version will
be one assessment rather than two, with 100 multiple-choice questions and will cost examinees $40.00.
- Once an examinee chooses to take the AEPA AZ/US Constitutions Assessment, s/he will no longer be
eligible to retake the current assessment.
- Retake exams are available by appointment only. To make an appointment, please contact our office
at 480-965-7146.
