Jane Park is an ASU undergraduate, majoring in Economics at the W.P. Carey School of Business.

InnovationSpace was by far the most interesting and challenging class I've taken at ASU. It taught me that 'thinking outside the box' is not just a phrase, but a skill acquired through hard work, research, creativity, and teamwork. It was one of the most difficult yet rewarding experiences Ive had.

Transdisciplinary

InnovationSpace, a collaboration among the College of Design, the Ira A. Fulton School of Engineering and the W. P. Carey School of Business, is an interdisciplinary product development course that emphasizes social and environmental responsibility. The goal of our transdisciplinary education and research lab is to teach students how to develop products that create market value while serving real societal needs and minimizing impacts on the environment. Put simply, we seek to create products that are progressive, possible and profitable. At the same time, they must have a meaningful impact on the daily lives of ordinary people.

Technology Venture Clinic is a teaching laboratory where students from several disciplines, including law, business, engineering and science, have been recruited as members of a technology transfer team, participating in patent investigation, business modeling, deal structuring, and market assessment and research.

Arts, Media and Engineering Program, in the Herberger College of Fine Arts, brings together engineering, arts and science disciplines that are invested in media research and training.
