Biography
Lisa Robinson is the Assistant Director for Training and Organizational Development for the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. Lisa has spent the last 17 years in the education and training and development field. Before joining ASU again, she worked as a Senior Leadership Consultant at American Express, focusing on organizational development, leadership coaching, strategic planning, training, and curriculum development.
Prior to working at American Express, Lisa worked in the Learning and Performance Solutions Group at Arizona State University for 5 years. During her tenure at ASU, Lisa was responsible for learning opportunities for both staff and faculty and was a strategic partner with numerous colleges and business units across campus in the area of performance improvement. Lisa directed the Leadership Development programs for ASU associate and assistant deans, chairs, and academic directors. She also managed learning seminars offered annually for ASU managers and directors, such as the Managers' Institute. Lisa was an instructor for several of the workshops, including Communicating to Increase Understanding, Emotional Intelligence, Interviewing Skills, Coaching and Feedback for Enhanced Performance, and is a certified Franklin Covey facilitator for The 4 Roles of Leadership and a certified facilitator forThe Coaching Clinic, Situational Leadership and Myers-Briggs.
Additionally, Lisa served as an adjunct faculty in the College of Extended Education for four years, teaching classes in the Human Performance Improvement professional certificate program. A skilled facilitator recognized for creating relevant, engaging learning programs in a variety of settings, Lisa was selected as the 2002 recipient of the College of Extended Education's Outstanding Faculty award.
Lisa received her Bachelor's degree in Asian Studies from the University of Victoria, in Victoria, British Columbia, a graduate level teaching certificate in Teaching English as a Second Language from Vancouver Community College in Vancouver, British Columbia, and her M.Ed. in Educational Leadership from Northern Arizona University. She has traveled extensively in Southeast Asia, Europe, and Central America.
As an educator, Lisa's philosophy is one that focuses on building trust and valuing the contributions and potential of others. Her experience has taught her that people learn best when their ideas are respected, professional development is relevant, and the learning environment is positive. Tiffany has been a licensed massage therapist and business owner since 1998. From 2002-03, Tiffany had the honor of being invited to tour with Cirque du Soleil as their personal massage therapist. When she returned to Phoenix, Tiffany really took notice of the high increase in workplace stress, so she began to visit local corporations and provide chair massage to overworked employees. The on-site massages were so well-received that she decided to offer companies complete, customized wellness programs that include massage, fitness courses, wellness & nutrition workshops, lifestyle education and more. Tiffany's vision was soon realized and The Back Rub Company was launched in 2004. Now with over 100 massage therapists, fitness instructors and workshop leaders throughout the United States, The Back Rub Company provides education, healing and stress-relief to thousands. This presentation will discuss how we use our “zones of space”, crime on campus and some personal safety tips, and will introduce the Rape Aggression Defense class taught at ASU and show some techniques used in self defense.
Biography
Stewart Adams has worked at ASU Police for 30 years, 20 as a police officer and ten as a civilian in the crime prevention unit. During his years as an ASU police officer he was assigned to motorcycle patrol for 13 years. Adams was also a Detective and a Sergeant.

Dr. Lynn Genet is a co-owner of American Chiropractic & Wellness in Scottsdale, a 5,100 square foot wellness facility including a licensed physical therapist, four seasoned chiropractors, 2 massage therapists, physical therapy assistant, and 6 additional support staff. She earned her Doctor of Chiropractic degree in 1996 from the National College of Chiropractic in Chicago, Illinois. Dr. Genet has been active in all aspects of her practice.
Dr. Genet has always understood the paramount importance of clear and precise office procedures and proper management. She has made integrity and quality customer service the focal point that everything else radiates from.
She is an active member of Toastmasters International and the Arizona Association of Chiropractic. Dr. Genet is a popular speaker for Arizona State University’s Health Watch Program and speaks regularly to several area businesses on spinal care and wellness. She is one of four State of Arizona certification trainers for chiropractic assistants.
American Chiropractic & Wellness Center is active in internships with the Southwest Naturopathic School of Healing Arts and Los Angeles of Health Sciences. Dr. Genet heads these programs for the clinic.

Prior to starting her business, Renée had a successful 25 year career ending in senior management positions in Human Resources. During that long career, she was responsible for developing systems, procedures and processes that ensured optimum quality and efficiency.
The skills acquired through her association with national and global companies have been transferred to her career as a Professional Organizer. Renée’s responsibilities included establishing new departments and business sites as well as streamlining processes in existing business units to increase productivity and quality metrics. Additionally, Renée provides customized training programs that lead to improved efficiencies. Her goal as a Professional Organizer is to inspire others to gain control over every aspect of their professional and personal life so they can realize the rewards of being organized and achieve higher levels of productivity.

Enhancing Your Quality of Life
During this wrap up session, we will review what we learned and explore ways to improve our overall quality of life as a result of today’s programming. With an eye on success, we will discuss the connection between defining success, being successful and the impact on our personal satisfaction. If you are interested in fixing something that is not working for you, or improving an area of life that is going well, small changes can be implemented to put you on the path to success. Slight modifications in daily living can drastically impact the quality of your life by establishing a sense balance and harmony. A reflective exercise highlighting quality of life questions will be utilized to end the day’s events on a successful note.

Jillian McManus received a BA in Psychology and a Masters in Social Work from Arizona State University. She is licensed as a Clinical Social Worker with the Arizona Board of Behavior Health Examiners. Jillian’s expertise includes individual and family counseling, anxiety/depression, stress management, organizational development, training, juvenile delinquency, parenting issues, disabilities and Work-Life balance coaching. Jillian assumed the role of director for ASU’s Organizational Health and Development in July 2007, providing oversight to the Employee Assistance Office, Wellness and Work-Life Balance programs. Additionally, Jillian is a member of both University Career Women and the Faculty Women’s Association supporting the personal and professional advancement of women at Arizona State University.
