UCW Lunch N' Learn: Stress Management
Wednesday, November 19, Noon - 1pm
MU Santa Cruz 229, Tempe campus

Amy Kraft, from Counseling and Consultation (Health and Wellness Program) will be provide this presentation on Stress Management. In the presentation staff will explore the stress response, discuss common stressors in their lives, and learn how to manage stress while increasing energy.

UCW Adopt an ASU Family (November-December)

"Adopt an ASU Student Family" is on its fifth year of assisting ASU students through the holiday season. The last four years have been very successful, and we are hoping for plenty of assistance to make this year great… hopefully, even better than last year! UCW’s goal for this event is to assist two, ASU Single Parent families through the holidays. Donations from individuals, and any group or organization are gladly appreciated and a welcome addition. So, PLEASE PASS THIS ON TO FRIENDS! Fundraising Activities

Immediate Past President Tami McKenzie is chairing UCW fundraising activities this year.  Tami plans to bring us new and exciting fundraising opportunities as well as the return of many of the successful sponsorship/support efforts from the past, including See's Candy, Honeybaked Hams, and Rosita's Mexican Restaurant. The 1st of 3 dynamic seminars, Phenomenal Woman- ARISE, takes an in-depth look at the 3 P’s in a woman’s life: Her Private, Professional and Public self.

The Phenomenal Woman seminar was designed to build concepts addressing the restoration of one’s self; mentally, emotionally, and spiritually as well as discovering leadership strengths, which MUST be applied to every area of life in order to complete the Phenomenal Woman!
